Why are Sindhi People so successful in everything they do?
Here is a list of 7 main Secrets that make Sindhi People successful in every field.
1. Smart and Hard work
Hard Work is the Master Key that can open all the locks of success, this is the principle Sindhis Follow. They Work Hard. Sindhis migrated to India from Sindh at the time of Independence/Partition. Because of Sudden riots that erupted among the Muslims and Hindus at that time, Sindhis left their birthplace, Sindh for India almost empty Handed. Many came by Train, some by Road, and some by Walking. So they had neither time nor space to carry their belongings.

They just left with their Loved ones and some valuables that they can carry with them. Many were killed on the way. The remaining ones who reached India were given the status of Refugees.
In many places (specially Ulhasnagar), they were given deserted British Army Barracks to live in.
The Sindhis got spread all over the world. Some decided to live back in Pakistan as they did not want to leave the roots of their forefathers. Some went to western Countries as they were allowed to go to British Colonies, Some went to Africa, and so on.
As refugees, Sindhis started working hard to make a living. Some started stitching clothes (My father was one of them). They will buy fabric and stitch Khaki and Blue Shorts and take these to Mumbai and sell them on Footpaths. These Shorts were in demand at that time. They shared this business idea with other Sindhis who also started making other items, and in this way, Ulhasnagar became a center for Readymade garments. Later, they started making all kinds of Garments from waste as well as fresh fabric. Today, Ulhasnagar is a hub for Readymade Garments, especially Denim Jeans.
2. Low profit for large turnovers.
Sindhis are like JIO. They don't like to take Huge Profits from a few customers, they believe in large turnover and reasonable profits. Where ever you find Sindhi Businessmen you will see that they sell their products at extremely low prices, this way, they attract a large number of customers and achieve a big turnover.
This way, they are able to get quantity discounts from suppliers by buying in bulk. They are also able to keep the competition away. It's never easy to compete with a Sindhi Businessman
There are a few Sindhi shops that sell at zero profit and attract a large number of customers, they sell the packaging cartons in scrap and consider that as their profit. This is the Sindhi Mind at work.
3. Never-say-die attitude
Sindhis think Long Term, they know that life is not always smooth. There are ups and downs and they are ready to face them. 'They have a Never say die attitude. 'When there is no demand for milk, make ice cream and sell' is the mantra Sindhis follow. They know how to ride the waves. When there is a fall in demand, they wait or just diversify. That is how they have entered most of the business fields i.e. from Retail to Manufacturing, from Transport to Shipping, and from trading to construction. There is not a single field where you don't find Sindhis
4. Buy, not rent
The reason for the fall of the Big Bazaar brand is their policy of paying rent for almost all their stores. As the stores were huge, the rent was huge too. Also, the benefit of appreciation in the value of property due to Big Bazaar went to the Landlord or the owner of the property, and Big Bazaar got nothing out of it.
Sindhis act exactly the opposite. They never prefer to do business from rented premises. That is the reason you will find Sindhi businesses working out of decades-old shops or premises. They almost never rent the business premises. They will manage from a tiny shop instead of a big place but it must be their own. They know that this way they will get the benefit of appreciation in the value of the property and also the goodwill of the business.
